FAQ
How do records for the same person get linked together?
Accurately matching public records together is a complex problem, since most public data does not contain unique identifiers that could be used to match records to the same individual.
The illumis platform uses proprietary machine learning to power a matching algorithm that identifies records that are associated with the same individual with a high degree of certainty and clusters those records together. Records are associated based on a variety of features and metadata associated with the records.
